my exams over last fri!! and i have a new blog template.. hehs.. but haven done the migration of template yet.. a simple one, changed to a new colour scheme.. hope it'll be pleasant to the eye! No pink this time.. hehe..

anyways, had a whole day of band prac on sat.. first SD prac then go on to main band prac all the way till ard 9.. was pretty tiring but was worth every bit of my effort cos i can play 95% of 2 out of the 3 confirmed pieces for SD (steeldrums) liao.. and im happy they not playing kokomo anymore cos i cannot seem to catch the melody that im playing..

oh yes chris! i haven got the chance to tell u this..but im in the steelpan/steeldrum grp! its called JuzSteel and a short performance by the steeldrum ensemble will be included in the esplanade concert on june 11th.. boon was playing at first but not anymore due to some reasons.. so the only 3 rv ppl r wy, jan(our junior by many batches) & i, quite a rare opportunity & the experience has been pretty amazing so im really really glad i was given a chance to join them since it started off as a yuhua grp..

anyways girl, know u can't make it for the esplanade concert but no worries ya cos i'll be performing with the steeldrum grp again on 9th july.. will u be back by then? shld be right, since my grad's the following day.. then u can come watch me play!! =)



got this frm wy's blog.. Do go down if u r free that day k? Since its a free concert and on a sunday.. esplanade concert hall's seats r quite comfy, can jus go in and sit sit then listen to music.. hehe.. =P

had quite a fun prac on sat.. was my first main band prac since i took a mth's leave frm band prac for exam break.. only attended SD pracs for short while every sat during exam period cos i was still learning how to play & concert's in abt a mth's time.. din stay for main band though since i was on leave & also easier to practise for main band parts..

yc so cute lor, actually asked us to pose twice for a mini section photo in the middle of prac while ms chan was concentrating on other sections.. shall post the 2 shots up when i get them.. we posed with the fear of being caught.. was pretty exciting though.. hehe..

whole week of programmes lined up before my taipei holiday on 16th.. really looking forward to a rewarding trip! exciting cos we're doing it free & easy.. juz 4 of us, planning wat to do and where to go for the 6days.. on a tight budget though.. practically emptying my bank account to non-existence for this trip alone.. 1K goes *Poof* for air tix, accommodation, transport and expenses.. sighh.. but i WILL enjoy it~


sidetracking... sometimes i wonder if certain persistence in my beliefs and expectations do more harm than good..

is that really how things shld be..? maybe im juz being hard on myself & ppl ard me..

maybe its becos i thought it makes a difference cos its just for that one day.. not everyday.
