surprised i finally updated??

haha.. sorry really been busy with my work and all.. can't wait to sleep when i get hm everyday.. and weekends will be either catching up on sleep or running out to meet frens etc..

but i've been sleeping at home the whole of sat & sun.. WHY??

cos clumsy me met with a freak accident while keeping a plastic folder in the wardrobe on fri night after getting hm from the lantern-playing..

the folder slipped and struck me directly in my right eye.. i cried out in pain lor and couldn't see properly after that.. ken saw a visible scratch on my cornea.. i was so freaked out cos i could see a line in my blur vision..

he sent me to NUH A&E for treatment immediately.. that was at 3plus am on a sat morning.. i was so scared can.. worried my vision wld get affected.. luckily the doc said that its not a deep cut, just a linear abrasion and our cornea has regenerative functions that promote healing of minor injuries to it.. PHEW..

but i was a blind bat for whole of sat, esp in the day cos of the uv penetration direct to my eye.. cornea injured so couldn't filter the uv rays.. i put on a self-invented eye patch(from tissue paper and scotch tape) and shades in the day.. watched tv till i fell alseep cos it was so tiring to look at things using 1 eye..was much better after i woke up cos night time liao.. so i slept and slept thru my sat and sun.. today on mc to go see eye specialist for follow up and also the dentist..

my wisdom tooth's been giving me problems for the past week.. bottom right gum swollen like dunno wat and the right side of my face also can see the swelling.. was supposed to see dentist during weekend but the eye injury was more serious so i beared with the pain first..

did a x-ray for my teeth and i need to remove my wisdom tooth after the swelling subsides.. pain arh..

Midautumn festival! went to west coast park with cousins to play with candles, sparklers and lanterns.. that was before the mishap happened..


bday with ken & my family on 14th.. an hr before midnight struck .. my strawberry cake frm rive gauche! looks nice but abit cheesy though.. i like strawberry shortcakes that r not cheesy leh.. hehe..


my bday in office.. see my messy table and all my work lying ard..

my evil colleagues got me 6 rolls of toilet paper cos i was having diarrhoea earlier that week.. and they got 6 diff ppl(i wun expect to play along with) to come to my table at intervals and pass a roll of toilet paper to me while wishing me happy bday.. so malu lor.. and they said something like "this is good quality paper, use sparingly", "dun go toilet so often la" etc..

and they played a prank on me, used the "someone wants to see u urgently in the room now so quick come down!" trick.. i actually fell for it k.. but they all very sweet la.. esp my 2 babes sn & ew! thanks to my supervisor wk, jel & sa too for the bday gift!

career suicide they say.. cos my deputy supt saw me holding all the toilet rolls and he walked over to find out why we were so happy.. we were making alot of noise taking photos lor.. they made me pose for silly photos and i gladly obliged in the name of fun.. haha..


bday bbq surprise with ken & my darling cousins + frens after work that day.. seletar reservoir! was a surprise location and its really quite special.. BBQ food was super yummy! i didn't move a finger that night cos i was the STAR.. haha.. i just sat there to be fed..


Bday with my sec sch pals & joanne.. sushi lunch at westmall sakae then karaoke at JEC!! xuan din join us though cos he had something on.. was funnnn cos long time since i met them liao.. thanks my dear frens for remembering my bday.. *hugs*


then i moved to United Sq to meet my usual favs from jc for a bday dinner at globetrotters.. they bought me a slice of cake frm Chocz! niceee..
